MedGro ("Application", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information about you in a variety of ways when you use the MedGro app, primarily to process orders and handle hyperlocal deliveries:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, which you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application or place an order.

  • Prescription Data: In our Pharmacy module, we collect and store images of medical prescriptions uploaded by you. This data is handled with strict confidentiality and is only visible to licensed pharmacists and store administrators for order verification.

  • Location Data: We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide hyperlocal services, determine delivery zones, and track real-time delivery status.

  • Financial Data: Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) is processed entirely by our secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your core banking or raw card details on our servers.

2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we use the information to:

  • Create and manage your personal user account.

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your pharmacy, grocery, or daily essential orders.

  • Verify uploaded medical prescriptions via registered pharmacists before preparing orders.

  • Track delivery partners and dispatch orders within valid hyperlocal operational zones.

  • Send you transaction notifications, order updates, and administrative messages.

  • Manage Cash on Delivery (COD) verifications and process refund requests.

3. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:

  • With Delivery Partners & Vendors: We share your name, phone number, and delivery address with the assigned delivery boy and the specific store vendor (Pharmacy/Grocery) to successfully complete your order fulfillment.

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law.

4. DATA SECURITY

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information and prescription uploads. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you enter into the Application, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 18. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 18, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate measures.

6. YOUR DATA RIGHTS

You have the right to review, change, or terminate your account at any time by accessing your profile settings within the app. You may also contact our support team to request the complete deletion of your personal account data from our active databases.
